Fillings and Veneers

Classic composite (white) fillings are the standard for treating cavities or replacing black fillings. Composite materials can also be used to create veneers, which can reshape front teeth and, in some cases, may be a better choice than crowns, as they preserve more tooth tissue. When restoring a tooth that has undergone endodontic treatment (root canal), the fillings can be reinforced with a metal post or an FRC (Fiber Reinforced Composite) post.

Indirect Fillings/Inlays

In cases of significant tooth destruction, it is sometimes possible to restore the tooth without drilling, by creating indirect fillings (inlays) on a model, which are then cemented with special tooth-colored composite cements for maximum aesthetic effect. Indirect fillings or inlays can also be made of ceramic.
